How do I use Stinger when it's mounted to my OWB holster?

Put the holster on as you would wear it regularly.

Select your preferred position for Stinger with the flat side touching the surface of the holster. We suggest Stinger should be flush or a little above the edge of the holster so you can easily get your fingers in the Stinger grip. Consider accessibility of both Stinger and your firearm when choosing your placement.

Remove the holster and lay it on a flat, hard surface.

Clean the preferred location on the holster with the provided alcohol surface wipe pad. Do NOT clean the sheath as it has a special primer on the back surface to promote adhesion. Allow the surface of the holster to dry thoroughly.

Apply the double sided adhesive tape to the flat side of the Stinger sheath by removing the paper backing off one side of the tape and pressing the exposed adhesive strip onto the flat side of the Stinger sheath.

Remove the plastic backing from the other side of the double sided adhesive tape and press Stinger onto your preferred position on the holster.

Firmly press and hold Stinger onto the holster for ten to twenty seconds to activate the tape bond.
How do I use Stinger when it's on my key ring?

Attach the provided key ring to the Stinger sheath through one of the sheath mounting holes.

Fasten the key ring to your key chain or D-ring.

Consider accessibility of Stinger when located on the key ring. We suggest having the ability to hold your keys while your fingers are through the Stinger grip.

To deploy Stinger, simply hold the keys and pull Stinger from the sheath.

A D-ring also makes it possible to attach keys and Stinger to a belt loop, purse, etc.
How do I use Stinger when I'm wearing it on a necklace or lanyard?

Attach the Stinger sheath to the provided lanyard through one of the outlets on the sheath. Or, use the key ring provided to attach to any necklace, chain, or lanyard of your choice. Consider the force used to pull the Stinger from the sheath when choosing your necklace, chain or lanyard.

How do I use Stinger when it's mounted on my mobile phone case?

Consider how you usually carry your mobile phone and/or mobile phone case. Do you want Stinger to be totally concealed? Faster accessibility? Consider accessibility of both Stinger and phone when choosing your placement.

Our Origins
How We Got Here
Self-protection in modern times forces all of us to adapt our behavior. But when an attacker is too close to successfully retreat, defending yourself using your own hands is inevitable.
We thought about the best and most reliable way to protect ourselves when it was down to the wire. A small blade that does not need to be unfolded, is unstrippable from your hand, and augments your self-defense skills was the obvious choice. Via concepts and prototypes tested and validated by law enforcement and ex-military service members, Stinger was born.
Ok... that's cool and all, but let's face the facts. We are a little United States based company with products designed here, by us. Our blades use the finest AISI 420 stainless steel, heat treated for strength, surface treated for enhanced corrosion resistance and sharpened using a precision knife blade grinder. While we never want someone to be in a situation where defending themselves is the final option, we wanted to ensure that every individual can have a simple personal protection device that is easy to use and a big deterrent. In a situation where escape seems impossible, Stinger can help you to get away.
